The Blueprint document sets out how the role of ICBs is going to change, specifying which functions to \u0022grow\u0022, \u0022retain\u0022 and \u0022review for transfer\u0022 to other organisations.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EOne of the key \u0022growth\u0022 functions for ICBs going forward is \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/understandingpatientdata.org.uk\/public-attitudes-patient-data-planning-and-population-health\u0022\u003Epopulation health management\u003C\/a\u003E, which involves using data to develop an understanding of the health of the population, segmenting the population to distinguish different groups\u0027 risk factors and needs, and take action to reduce health inequalities.
